What's an Eternal Address?

It a web address where you'll go to both access the Eternal Portal during your lifetime, and when the time comes, it becomes the address of your Memorial website.

All users choose an Eternal Address when they select a Plan.

You can also think of it like a username, that is also a web address. 

What's the purpose of an Eternal Address?

This is a valid web address that serves two purposes:

  • You'll use this address to access your personal Eternal Dashboard, to manage any Digital Executors, or Digital Wishes, or Memorial websites, during your lifetime. 

  • If you want a Memorial website, then after you pass away, this address becomes the website address that anyone online can use to visit your Memorial website.

    • If you do not want a Memorial website, it will be released when your plan ends.

What are some common examples of Eternal Addresses?

  • Any Internet domain name or subdomain address can be a Memorial address

  • You can use any available address within the "eternal.me" domain.
    Some commonly used choices include addresses like:

    • www.zack.eternal.me
    • richardzack.eternal.me
    • nickname.eternal.me

  • You can also upgrade to Premium addresses for the affordable price of $10/year (or for free on the Eternal Plan). Some commonly used name choices include addresses like:

    • www.john.smith.memorial
    • rose.garcia.memorial
    • david.brown.memorial
  • You can also upgrade to any valid Internet domain addresses for prices from $15-$80/year, depending on the domain. Some commonly used name choices include addresses like:

    • www.zack.memorial
    • www.zack.family
    • www.zack.estate

What if I already own a domain name that I'd like to use?

  • You can transfer any domain name to Eternal Me's registrar service by selecting this option during the plan selection process. The domain transfer is free with a one year paid domain registration (or free on the Eternal plan), which extends your current expiration date by an additional year. 

 

What if I want to change my Eternal Address later?

  • You can change your address at any time by contacting support.

 

Can I have multiple Eternal Addresses?

  • Yes! You can have as many as you'd like, however, this feature is not presently built into our automation system. Please Contact Support and request the additional Eternal Addresses.
